Shawn Stumphf, CPA ASA-BV ABV CFE CGMA MBA DBA



Dr. Shawn M. Stumphf
is a consultant and recognized expert in business valuation, forensic accounting, and economic damage analysis. He has nearly two decades of experience in accounting, finance, and consulting, with a primary focus on valuation and financial dispute matters.
 
Dr. Stumphf has authored over 1,000 valuation and consulting reports and has testified as an expert witness in state and federal courts. His work involves complex financial disputes, including shareholder litigation, marital dissolution, wrongful death, and other high-stakes matters. He has performed valuations of businesses ranging from small owner-operated companies to international enterprises, with revenues from under $1 million to over $500 million, with a primary focus on closely held and middle-market businesses.
 
In addition to his consulting practice, Dr. Stumphf serves as Assistant Professor of Practice in Finance at North Dakota State University. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with an econometrics focus from Creighton University.
