North Dakota CPA Society FoundationThe Society Foundation is a 501-C-3 entity, which makes scholarship awards available to accounting students enrolled at eight area colleges. The Foundation originally bore the name of R.D. Koppenhaver, who was chair of the UND Accounting Department for many years, and served as secretary/treasurer of the CPA Society until 1980. Recipients must be enrolled at a state or border city college (one of the eight funded by the Foundation), planning to write the CPA exam within the following 12 months, and be a well-rounded individual (strong grades, plus involved in extra- curricular activity). The award is $500 and a certificate. This award is presented at least once each year at all eight schools in our program.
Bullinger Family Foundation Scholarship One or more scholarships are awarded annually. The recipient must be enrolled at a state or border city college, planning to write the CPA exam within the following 12 months, and be a well- rounded individual (strong grades, plus involved in extra-curricular activity). The U.S. Seamless company is headed by Mike Bullinger, president of the CPA Society from 1988-1989.
